ABRAM R. CRAWFORD: Records show that
his family moved to Wilson County, Tennessee in 1804,
Moulton, Lawrence Co., Ala. in 1816,
"came to the site of Athens (Alabama) in 1817"


1830 census shows no slaves, 2 "Free White" males and 3 "Free White" females!


1840 census shows no slaves, 2 "Free White" males and 4 "Free White" females!


1850 census states his real estate value is $1000 and his son Alfred is living "in adjoining households" with his wife and two children.


1860 census shows his wife and two daughters plus the following people:
RUBIN J. BUIKE age 58
BENJIMAN HANBLET age 23
MARY A. HANBLET age 23
